Today we travelled from Dalton, GA to Birmingham, AL and, by contrast to yesterday, our trip today was all about the destination – the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, Alabama.
The aim of the museum is to preserve the history of motorcycles from an international aspect and the collection represents 216 different manufacturers from 20 countries. However only about 600 of the 1,400 motorcycles in the collection are on display at any one time.
The interior of the museum is a work of art in itself and the motorcycles are beautifully displayed in a variety of ways. Hope you enjoy the photos (Ron and I took over 800 photos between us!).
